Widely revered as the 'Father of Hepatology in Bangladesh', Dr. Khan was a pioneering figure in the field of liver diseases. His work has left a permanent mark on the medical landscape of the country. His dedication to his patients and the advancement of medicine will be remembered for generations.

A Legacy of Excellence in Hepatology
Dr. Mobin Khan was a distinguished Hepatologist. He was an expert in diagnosing and treating conditions of the liver, gallbladder, and pancreas. His practice covered a wide range of health issues. These included viral hepatitis, cirrhosis, fatty liver disease, and liver cancer. His deep knowledge and compassionate approach made him a trusted doctor for thousands of patients seeking specialized liver care.

Unmatched Qualifications and Credentials
Dr. Khan's journey in medicine was marked by outstanding academic and professional achievements. He earned his MBBS degree, followed by a Master of Science (MSC) in Hepatology. His pursuit of excellence led him to achieve Fellowship of the College of Physicians and Surgeons (FCPS) from both Bangladesh and Pakistan. His expertise was also recognized internationally. He was a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) in both Glasgow and Edinburgh. Furthermore, he held fellowships from the United States as a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP) and the American College of Chest Physicians (FCCP). These numerous qualifications show his commitment to staying at the forefront of medical knowledge.

Service and Professional Affiliations
Throughout his career, Prof. Dr. Mobin Khan was associated with Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) Hospital. As a senior professor and physician at this top institution, he played a key role in training countless medical students and future specialists. He helped shape the future of hepatology in Bangladesh through his teaching and mentorship.

Former Chamber and Patient Care
Dr. Khan previously consulted with patients at his chamber located at House # 64, Road # 8/A, Mirza Golam Hafiz Road, Dhanmondi R/A, Dhaka. Please be aware that this chamber is no longer in operation following his passing. He was fluent in both Bengali and English, allowing him to communicate effectively with all his patients and understand their concerns fully.

In Memoriam
